We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.
Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.

A lion decides he’s had enough of being photographed - and tries to steal a photographer’s camera. The lion and his pride had been followed by a film crew in Okavango Delta, Botswana, for days - and obviously decided it was time to have his turn behind the camera. The lion broke away from the pride and ran up to the camera before trying to drag the camera and tripod away. The photo was taken by British photographer and tour guide John Sobey, who runs horseback safaris for photographers throughout Botswana. He said: “He had a good look down the lens and we watched, amazed. It was only when he decided to try and bite them camera that the film crew got worried, and shouted at the lion, scaring him away.”
This is why this band is so kick a$$. “Future Starts Slow” is such a catchy tune. Watch this video, seriously. Do it now.

Theophilus London, a man who says he belongs to the more generous type of recording artist, has just released his major label debut LP Timez Are Weird These Days as a full stream. The Brooklyn-based musician has received a huge amount of attention across various blogs, perhaps due to the braggadocio’s interest in fashion, and this move will no doubt help him receive a lot more.

Bela Koi Designs
I dragged my friend Melissa and her buddy to the LA THREAD Show on June 12, and we had a seriously good time. I discovered a vast array of cool indie designers while walking around the Cooper Design Space, but the Bela Koi Designs table really captured my attention.
I love nautical motifs, so I decided to custom order a piece for myself and one to give to Melissa for her birthday. Bela Koi owner Rachael Caballero worked with me via email, and the result was even better than I’d imagined. The Gothika (black rose) necklace above is mine, and I received a ton of compliments on it already. Even better: the designs are totally affordable.
